What to expect from your All Inclusive Holidays

All Inclusive holidays are exactly what they say on the tin - holidays, with everything included! Your budget's sorted before you even pack your inflatable flamingo, so there are no pesky surprises (unless you want there to be). We're talking all your meals, drinks, snacks and entertainment covered - because, honestly, why the heck not? So whether you're looking for something new this year or planning ahead for your 2027 holidays, here's a cheeky peek of the kind of thing you can expect on our All Inclusive holidays...

Delish food and drink

You can't really call it a holiday if you aren't tackling the huge breakfast buffet on the daily with plenty of room for poolside tipples and snacks to tide you over til' lunch... rinse and repeat for dinner too, of course. That's the beauty of All Inclusive holidays - you'll never be left parched or peckish. We're talking your meals, drinks, snacks and all the sweet treats in between - sorted. Loads of our All Inclusive hotels go above and beyond in the food department. A word of advice? Elasticated trousers (yes, we know - that's two words but we're talking All Inclusive here - indulge us!)

All the activities

Googling things to do in the local area and racking your brain for ways to keep the kiddos entertained? Not on an All Inclusive holiday you're not. These are the kind of holidays where it's all right on your doorstep. No having to hunt around and fork out extra for local activities - it's all on site! We have top hotels that come with sports courts, pool games, kids' clubs and even full-blown waterparks in some cases! We know. Pretty epic.

Nightly entertainment on your doorstep

Not in the mood to trek around hunting for bars, clubs and entertainment spots at night? No problem, you're going to love what our All Inclusive hotels have to offer. That's right - the evening entertainment is sorted, and it's right on site. This can vary from hotel to hotel (and depend on season), but you can expect things like karaoke nights, live music, quizzes, dance shows, acrobatics and more - all included in the price, and all without needing to even think about leaving the hotel. Bingo. Oh yeah, some of them have that too.

Best destinations for All Inclusive holidays

Just like Pitbull (the singer, not the dog), these holidays go worldwide. Whether it's Costa del Sol in Spain, Kefalonia in Greece or the Algarve in Portugal, we've probably snapped up an impressive package deal there. And let's not forget the kings of the bunch - Turkey holidays with all the bells and whistles. Those guys know how to holiday. That means you'll be pretty spoilt for choice when it comes to finally choosing where you'll be flopping a beach towel down. If you're looking to find out where's hot then check out some amazing deals in some of our top destinations below. Spoiler: they're all great.

All Inclusive Holidays to Greece

Greece is the bee's knees of beach destinations. We're talking sandy beaches for miles, enough feta to keep Charlotte from our Content team happy (she really likes feta) and old towns cute enough for a postcard. Or an Insta pic, at least. Mix it all together, and you've got the recipe for a pretty fan-dabi-dozi holiday. Think all inclusive holidays in Santorini that are all about the pool vibes, bright blue seas and slurping something cold wondering if it's too early for gyros. (It's never too early for gyros.) Whether you fancy strutting your stuff on the mainland on an all inclusive holiday to Halkidiki or island-hopping like a holiday bunny, going all-in in Greece is where it's at.

Where to go for a top All Inclusive Holiday

The Canary Islands

Doesn't matter how many young, new beach destinations come on the map - the Canaries are still a long-standing fave with us Brits. Whether you go for holidays to Tenerife, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote or Fuerteventura, there's one thing we can guarantee about an All Inclusive to the Canaries: not only can you leave your wallet in your room, you can leave your umbrella at home. And your big coat, for that matter, because these guys stay nice and toasty all year long - talk about top holiday weather! Whenever you're heading off, prepare for some 10/10 sunbathing. Shades on. Beer in hand. Bosh.

Go long haul

Ready to jet off on a long-haul adventure that'll knock your Crocs off? We're talking the kinda jolly where cocktails are served in coconut shells, restaurants come with a rooftop view and beaches come with, like, a gazillion palm trees. Whether you're in the mood for sipping rum punch on an all inclusive holiday to the Caribbean, somewhere like Antigua (has to be done), soaking up the fiesta vibes in Mexico, stepping into the glitz and glam of the UAE, or discovering the beauty of Thailand holidays - sometimes a longer flight is worth it for what you get on the other side. And when it's all included in the price? Kind of a no-brainer.

Take off to Turkey

We don't like to size-shame, but Turkey's HUGE, so that means all the more opportunity to offer some cracking hotels (like the glorious Granada Luxury Belek, if you know, you know). From an all inclusive holiday to Bodrum, to Antalya and Dalaman, this place has something up its sleeve for every beach lover. Getting away on a Turkey all-inclusive is all about great value (our fave thing ever). Waterparks? Huge. Entertainment? Every night. Food? Better bring a belt with extra notches. Plus, the weather in Turkey? Absolutely cracking. What you want, when you want it. That's how we roll, and that's how Turkey rolls (yum - can you tell we're writing this at lunchtime?)

Say 'Ola!' to Spain

With a short (and very family-friendly) flight time, sunny weather guaranteed and food you'll be talking about for years, Spain is an absolute no-brainer for a good all-inclusive holiday. From top resorts with waterparks included we're to boutique hotels serving up the best paella on the all-inclusive buffet, Spain is one of those all-around top destinations no matter what you're after whether it's an all inclusive holiday to Salou, or you're fancying Benalmadena! And, if you fancy that Spanish charm with a little island vibe, be sure to check out the Balearics. With guaranteed sunshine, an all inclusive holiday to Majorca is perfect for a top summer jolly.

A perfect pick in Portugal

When it comes to an all-inclusive jolly, Portugal really takes the cake (and might serve it at the buffet too?) It's a land filled with stunning resorts, lush beaches, cobbled streets and all the pastel de nata you can pack in after a day of tanning and lounging by the pool (it's tiring work doing nothing, isn't it?) You could be poolside in The Algarve, somewhere like Albufeira where the suns toasty and the drinks flow free, or ditch the algarve and opt for a city option, like Porto where you can stroll around without having to worry about where you're gonna get your next foodie fix. If you ask us, that sounds like an absolute winner.

Cheap All Inclusive Holidays

All Inclusive holidays are all about saving the big bucks (so you can treat yourself to all the duty free goodies), so we'd be doing you all a disservice if we didn't chat about some of our fave cheap all inclusive holidays that are just begging to be snagged. Picture it: your poolside, it's Midday, you've just ordered a bowl of chips and your cocktail of choice, breakfast was bangin' and you had two platefuls, it's Italian night at the buffet, and you don't have to pay for a single thing. Truly a level of bliss you can only find on a cheap all inclusive jolly. If that's not got you convinced though, then check out some of our fave hotels from Turkey, to Tunisia and back again for a budget break and thank us later...

Last minute all inclusive holidays

Last-minute all-inclusive holidays are the real deal! Think lounging on the shores of Egypt or Menorca with sand all in your bits after a dip in the sea, with nothing but the sound of waves and the promise of unlimited ice cream. It's a perfect blend of relaxation and adventure, served up just the way you like it - but without the pesky countdown. And the beauty of these jollies, is that no matter the time of year, you can always find a last-minute bargain - we're talking everything from October all-inclusive holidays right the way through to all inclusive holidays in May. They've got everything from beachfront dining to moonlit strolls included, you'll be living the dream in no time all for a cracking price, because we're all about cheap holidays around here, and yes, that can include a few five-star finds too...

24-Hour All Inclusive Resorts

The only thing better than All Inclusive? 24-hour All Inclusive, obviously. That's where you've got snacks and tipples around the clock, so whether you're looking for an early bird's breakfast, a late afternoon nibble or some middle-of-the-night munchies, there's ALWAYS somewhere open and ready to cure your cravings. Not only is it fab value for money (which - shocker - we love), but it means you can relax without having to constantly check the bar and restaurant opening times. Why? Because whatever time of day (or night) it is, you know there'll always be somewhere open for you! No dramas.

🗓️ When to Go All Inclusive

When's best to go all-inclusive? Well a free bar sounds good to us any time of year! But, depending on when you want to go, there might be some other considerations (like where's hot and what not) so we're breaking all-inclusives' down for you by season so you can pick the perfect time and place for your unlimited buffet dreams.

☀️ Summer (June - August)

Peak season means peak vibes. This is when European all-inclusive resorts go all-out with every pool, restaurant and entertainment programme running at full steam. Temperatures are scorchio, the sea's bath-warm, and the cocktails are flowing. Perfect for families hitting the school holidays or anyone who wants that proper summer holiday feeling.

Top summer all-inclusive picks:

  • 🇹🇷 Turkey - The undisputed king of all-inclusive. Mega resorts with waterparks, kids' clubs that'll wear out even the most energetic little ones, and value that's hard to beat. Belek and Antalya are where it's at for families.

  • 🇪🇸 Majorca - Just over two hours from the UK with brilliant family resorts, gorgeous beaches and that Spanish sunshine. Alcudia's long sandy beach is perfect for the little ones.

  • 🇬🇷 Crete - Greece's biggest island serves up a proper mix of beach days, ancient ruins and moussaka mountains. Waterpark resorts keep the kids happy while you sneak in some poolside peace.

🍂 Autumn (September - November)

The smart traveller's secret. Fewer crowds, still-gorgeous weather in a lot of southern Europe or north Africa (we're talking mid-20s), and proper bargain prices. The sea's had all summer to warm up so it's perfect for swimming, and you won't have to fight for a sunbed. Hotels still have most facilities running but with a much more chilled atmosphere.

Top autumn all-inclusive picks:

  • 🇬🇷 Rhodes - Over 300 days of sunshine a year means autumn's still brilliant here. September and October give you lovely warm weather, fewer crowds and the chance to explore those ancient ruins without melting.

  • 🇪🇸 Costa Adeje, Tenerife - The Canaries are basically autumn-proof. Year-round sunshine means you can rock up any time and get proper beach weather. Plus you're close enough to Siam Park for a splash.

  • 🇪🇬 Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt - The Red Sea stays warm well into November, making it perfect for snorkelling those incredible coral reefs. Egyptian all-inclusive resorts are legendary for value.

❄️ Winter (December - February)

Escape the grey and find some proper winter sun. This is prime time for long-haul all-inclusive adventures - when the Caribbean and Atlantic islands are at their absolute best. If you're willing to sit on a plane a bit longer, you'll be rewarded with guaranteed heat, turquoise waters and that tropical paradise feeling, if you wanna stay a bit closer to home, the canary islands are great all year round.

Top winter all-inclusive picks:

  • 🇪🇸 Gran Canaria - One of the warmest Canary Islands in winter, regularly hitting 20-22°C. Maspalomas offers stunning dunes, gorgeous beaches and proper resort vibes even in December. Just a four-hour flight for reliable winter sun.

  • 🇩🇴 Dominican Republic - The Caribbean at its finest. Think postcard-perfect white sand beaches, crystal-clear waters and resorts that have absolutely nailed the all-inclusive game. Winter temps around 28-30°C make this the ultimate escape from British drizzle.

  • 🇨🇻 Cape Verde - The best-kept secret for winter sun. Just six hours from the UK with year-round temperatures of 25-28°C, barely any rain, and that unique African-Portuguese vibe. Feels like the Caribbean but with a shorter flight and no jet lag.

🌸 Spring (March - May)

The sweet spot. Temperatures are warming up nicely, prices haven't hit peak season yet, and you've got that lovely fresh spring feeling. Great for couples wanting a romantic escape before the summer rush, or families with pre-schoolers who can dodge the holiday crowds. Fancy going long-haul? Spring's also brilliant for the Caribbean before hurricane season kicks in.

Top spring all-inclusive picks:

  • 🇬🇷 Corfu - Greece's greenest island is absolutely gorgeous in spring when everything's in bloom. Temperatures creep into the mid-20s by May, and you'll beat the summer crowds to those crystal-clear bays.

  • 🇹🇷 Side, Turkey - Ancient ruins, sandy beaches and that famous Turkish hospitality. Spring sees temperatures hitting the mid-20s with warm seas for swimming. The resorts are gearing up for summer so everything's running beautifully.

  • 🇯🇲 Jamaica - If you're after guaranteed heat and proper Caribbean vibes, spring is perfect for Jamaica. Temperatures around 28-30°C, reggae rhythms, jerk chicken and rum punch flowing freely. The island practically invented the all-inclusive concept.

The On the Beach guide to All Inclusive jollies

We're gonna paint you a little picture. You're at home, sun's out and you're getting yourself a nice little '99 from the ice cream van. Standard. He asks if you want the extras - flake, sauce, sherbet - all that lot. And you do, but you don't fancy paying any extra. Well, we're here to tell you that going all-in is just like having that ice cream WITH all the toppings, but without paying a penny extra. We've even wacked some popular searches on this page so that you don’t have to lift a finger, well maybe to click that button. Whether you're craving that sunny Tenerife weather, a bit of Spain action, or one of our Turkey holidays, we got it. How's that for a sweet deal? Make 2025 your all-inclusive year. So, where're you heading? We're off to the pool bar for an ice cream... 🍦

All Inclusive holidays for...

... the lovebirds

Spend less time counting coins, deciding where to eat and Googling 'cheap bars near me', and more time *actually* enjoying your time together. (Minus the inevitable argument when you're waiting for each other to get ready.) Fancy some tapas and sangria in Spain? A cheeky bottle of Mythos with a side of souvlaki in Greece? Tagine and a bit of shikhat in Marrakech? (That's belly-dancing, FYI.) Well, whether you're looking to jet off ASAP or planning ahead for your 2026 holidays, you can have all that and more.

... the whole fam

Keeping the little ones (and the big ones) entertained on holiday is always a worry. Will there be enough activities? Will there be entertainment at night? Will there be chips at the buffet? Well, let us save you some time: on one of this kind of jollies, the answer to those questions is yes, yes and big fat YES. The only thing you need to worry about is enjoying it. And maybe bringing a lilo. And maybe bringing a back-up in case Dad pops the first one.

... the bargain hunters

Forget the cash, the only thing we'll be splashing on our jollies is Sunbathing Sally when we dive-bomb into the pool. By accident, obviously. Sorry Sal. The point is, not only does an all inclusive holiday already mean you barely have to open your wallet, but our FlexiPay options and low deposits mean your next beach break can be on the cards anytime. We've got bags (and suitcases and rucksacks) of great-value holidays to snap up, from all-inclusive Croatia jollies to Benidorm bargains (and you know the weather in Benidorm in summer is on point) - but if you're bad at choosing, take a look at the deals up there ☝️. And, if they don't float your boat, check out our latest cheap holidays!

FAQs

What are the cheapest All Inclusive destinations?

Anywhere you book with us, silly 😎 We're kidding. Sort of. We do always have some top deals up our sleeve, but generally speaking, you can snap up some bargains in the Canaries and the Balearics if you book in advance. Turkey's also always up there for value for money.

Where are the best destinations for All Inclusive holidays?

Wow, you're really putting us on the spot here... these holidays can be found anywhere there's sun, sand and sea (and even a few places where there isn't), so you've got plenty of choice. Classics like Spain and Greece are always popular, and Turkey's your #1 for getting mega value for money. Destinations like Egypt, Cyprus, Malta (and even Dubai if you're feeling fancy) are all great picks for some top-tier fun though.

Our Top Tip!

All-inclusive holidays are always a shout, but if you've got the whole fam in tow, you've gotta do it the right way. And by that, we mean...the Turkey way. Turkey hotels are known for being packed to the brim with value. All-day food (literally - Google 'midnight soup'), non-stop activities, and waterparks *actually* worth shouting about. Stuff to keep you, the kids and even the grandparents happy - all under one roof. That's the dream, folks.

What is an All Inclusive holiday?

It's exactly what it sounds like: a holiday where everything's included. Your food, your drinks, your entertainment - all in the total price when you book. Pretty great, right?

Is an All Inclusive holiday worth it?

In a word: YES. If you like to stay on site and fill your boots with drinks and grub at the hotel, then it's totally worth it. You can take full advantage of the buffet, plus snacks in between to really save the pennies. Some hotels even include unlimited ice cream for the kids (and you, let's be honest). Plus, you get a whole bunch of activities to try included in the price too. Join in with the aqua aerobics, challenge your mates to a game of beach volleyball or send the kids to an action-packed kids' club - and if that's not worth it, we don't know what is.

Do All Inclusive holidays include alcohol?

Programmes can vary from hotel to hotel, but most of the time some form of alcoholic drinks will be included - and you can even upgrade to premium packages sometimes for all the branded beers and spirits and a slight extra cost. For the full deets of what your hotel offers if you're going all in, we recommend checking out their website directly.

What are my payment options with On the Beach?

Let's just say...we're pretty flippin' flexible. You can pay for your jolly in one lump sum if that's how you roll, or in smaller instalments and spread the cost up until 4 weeks before you jet off. We got you.

Why choose On the Beach for your next All Inclusive holiday?

Over 1.5 million people can't be wrong can they? 'Cause that's how many people trust us enough to book their beach jolly with us. We think it's because we're pretty nifty at our jobs, but Laura from Marketing thinks it's because we talk about beaches and buffets all day, every day. It could be the job thing, but it's probably the beach thing. Either way, if you fancy joining our family of holidaymakers, we're ready and waiting with our FlexiPay plans so you can pay your way, minus the sneaky admin fees (we hate those). Plus deposits as low as £30pp, so you can book with confidence - and let's not forget we're the Home of Holiday Perks, which means we go out of our way to make your holiday that extra bit special. You're welcome.

What's the difference between All Inclusive and Ultra All Inclusive?

Standard all-inclusive typically covers your buffet meals, local drinks at certain bars, and basic snacks throughout the day. Ultra all-inclusive (sometimes called Premium All Inclusive) takes it up a notch - think branded spirits instead of just local ones, à la carte restaurants included without extra charges, 24-hour dining options, room service, premium ice creams, and often extras like minibar top-ups. Turkish resorts like the Rixos chain are famous for their ultra all-inclusive programmes where even the fancy cocktail bars and speciality restaurants are covered. If you're the type who wants the absolute works without ever reaching for your wallet, ultra all-inclusive is worth the upgrade.

How much spending money do I need on an all-inclusive holiday?

One of the (many) beautiful things about all-inclusive is you genuinely don't need much at all - your food, drinks and entertainment are sorted. That said, assuming you will be going out of your resort we'd suggest budgeting around £20-30 (€25-35) per person per day for bits like excursions, tips, souvenirs, and the odd drink or snack outside the resort when you fancy exploring.

If you're planning lots of day trips (boat tours, waterparks, historical sites), budget extra for those - anywhere from £30-80 (€35-95) per person depending on what you're doing.

But don't get too carried away, ultimately, for a week-long family holiday, £200-400 (€240-480) total spending money is usually plenty. Couples might get away with even less if you're happy staying put at the resort.
